An ExacTemp light flashes during the measuring process and signals when the probe has not been placed correctly in the ear canal. The light shines continuously once the temperature has been taken, and a beep signals that you have an accurate reading.

For ease of use, a lens filter detector makes sure that a lens filter always is in place, and a lens filter ejector makes removing used lens filters as easy as can be.
